Playing with Derwent Graphitint

The Derwent Graphitint pencils are watersoluble coloured graphite similar, but not the same, as watercolour pencils. The tones in the Graphitint line tend to be muted, earthier, and seem best used where you're looking for colours to be less vibrant, but still rich in depth.

The flower to the left is on cold pressed paper in one of my watercolour sketchbooks. Colours used are Aubergine, Green Grey, and Meadow.
